Duru Bag founder and CEO Mustafa Duru was elected as the Board Chairman of PROMASİAD (Promotional Products and Printing Industry Businessmen's Association) on November 22, 2025. Duru has taken office with the vision of strengthening the industry and enhancing its international competitiveness.
What is PROMASİAD?
PROMASİAD (Promotional Products and Printing Industry Businessmen's Association) was established in 2019 in Turkey to expand and strengthen the promotional products manufacturing and printing industry sector. The association brings together manufacturers and exporters under one umbrella, advocates for common interests, encourages knowledge sharing, and plays an active role in developing international trade relations.
PROMASİAD houses various working groups including the Foreign Relations Commission and the Trade Development Platform Commission. The association organizes international fairs, sector events, and member promotion programs to amplify the voice of the Turkish promotional and printing industry on the global stage.

The Chairman's Message
Dear Colleagues, Esteemed Stakeholders,
Our printing, press, and promotional products industry has been facing a significant challenge in recent years due to global and national economic fluctuations, rising costs, difficulties in accessing finance, and rapidly changing market conditions. Increases in exchange rates, interest rates, energy, and raw material prices continue to directly affect all components of our industry.
However, the experience we have gained from past to present has shown us that our promotional products, printing, and publishing industry has managed to maintain — and even improve in many areas — its production capacity, technical infrastructure, and international competitiveness despite all challenges. This success has been largely achieved through the dedication, entrepreneurship, and innovative approach of the private sector rather than public support.
As the new management that took office on November 22, 2025, we aim to further strengthen our association by upholding PROMASİAD's founding philosophy and the efforts it has made to date. In this period where the domestic market is shrinking and competition is intensifying on a global scale, the most important topics for our industry will be the ability to act together, institutional representation power, and sustainable international competitiveness.
We want to carry forward PROMASİAD's vision of being not just a structure where commercial relations are conducted, but a living organization where trust-based social bonds are established among its members, knowledge and experience are shared, and younger generations are guided. Our priority is for our association to become a platform that produces policies on behalf of our industry, communicates effectively with decision-makers, and powerfully brings forth collective wisdom when needed.
With the new governance system, we are aware of the increasing importance of NGOs and sectoral organizations. In this context, we adopt a systematic and transparent working approach for PROMASİAD to transform into a solution-oriented and inclusive structure that serves as a bridge between the public sector, private sector, and other civil structures.
On this journey, our greatest strength will be the contribution, support, and collective will of you, our valued members. We will continue our work with determination towards a PROMASİAD where we can openly discuss our problems, develop solutions together, and build the future of our industry collectively.
I wish the new era to be auspicious for our industry, our members, and our country, and I thank all the directors and members who have contributed in the past period.
